Acupuncture for Pain, Sleep, and Stress

Acupuncture here is a clinical tool, not a mystery. Fine, sterile needles are placed at specific points to influence pain, muscle tone, and the nervous system. Many patients use it for stubborn neck and back pain, headaches, and the wired-but-tired feeling that wrecks sleep.

What you will feel

Needles are much thinner than a flu shot. You may feel a dull ache, a tiny sting, or nothing. Once they are in, you rest. Rooms are private, lights are calm, and you can ask for every needle to be explained before it goes in. We never continue if you are not comfortable.

Sessions may include cupping or acupressure when it fits. You stay draped. Only the area being treated is uncovered.

How we combine it

Acupuncture rarely replaces physiotherapy or massage — it often makes those sessions more productive by turning the volume down on pain and guarding. People with jaw tension, plantar pain, or shoulder tightness sometimes book a short acupuncture visit in the same week as exercise-based physio.

Who should mention extra history

Tell us about pregnancy, bleeding disorders, pacemakers, or if you are needle-faint. We will adapt or choose another approach. Reflexology is available in the clinic if you want a needle-free option for stress and foot pain.

Coverage varies by plan. Ask reception and we will check before you start. Book on a weekday until 6:30pm or Saturday until 4:00pm.
